I write fictional podcasts, half-hour sitcoms, and animated shorts.
But… then… I actually make what I write.
Public Radio soundalikes are “my thing.” They help me channel my creativity, make use of my comedy training, and help me hone my ear.
Here is an entire fictional network called “WLHR: Fake Public Radio” that I co-created with my partner Adam over at Left Handed Radio. WLHR features parodies of Marketplace, Hidden Brain, Radio Lab, Fresh Air, The Daily, All Things Considered, and even local shows like Brian Lehrer.
All host voices are done by myself and Adam, with occasional guests sitting in for interviews and/or character bits. Editing and sound-design is done in-house.
